The town seems nice enough, with a number of semi-interesting sights to see but the PARKING, what a nightmare. Way to many cars, way too few parking spots and parking lots.

Viseu is easy to get around on foot. There are some great places to Eat too. The linen museum is worth a visit, as are some local wineries - Quinta do Perdigão is a small winery run by José and Vanessa. Vanessa is English and an artist. You can taste wine and learn about the grapes.

Very warm welcome to this fabulous little city from Ivan. Our rooms were magnificent and the location is superb. Fantastic view from the balcony, and convenient parking very nearby. The beautiful old town is on the doorstep and so is the elegant leafy Rossio square.
